NSAF AlumniSupporting the Champions of TomorrowSince 1991 the NSAF has distributed more than $5M in grants that have allowed over 250,000 high potential student athletes to participate in our national indoor and outdoor competitions and development programs. 800 of these athletes have gone on to be Olympians earning 225 medals. NSAF alumni made up 55% of the US Olympic Track and Field team at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and earned 25% of the individual gold medals earned by Team USA. As a part of our NSAF Alumni Network, members are integrated into our programs as mentors and special guests to support the development of the current athletes participating in our programs. Opportunities include: Nike Elite Program - Near Peer Mentors Nike Elite Alumni Peer (NEAPs) Mentors are recent Nike Elite Program alumni who are now participating in collegiate athletics. They offer guidance and mentorship to current athletes in the program to help create a supportive environment and aid with the preparation of the college transition. Nike Indoor and Outdoor National Championships Special Guest NSAF Alumni are encouraged to appear as a special guest at our Nike Indoor and Outdoor National Championships. Onsite opportunities include, meet and greets, speakers at Nike Elite Program events, and more! Athlete Development Programs Virtual Special Guest Each month, athletes in our Nike Elite Program and Nike National Program come together over Zoom to receive mentorship and guidance from our Program Managers and special guests, including NSAF Alumni.
